The Vicious Mushroom is a type of mushroom found on grass in the Crimson, where they can be cut and collected with a single swing of any weapon or tool. Vicious Mushroom can only grow when there are proper walls behind the soil block, or no walls at all.

Vicious Mushroom cannot be eaten or brewed into any potions; they are used solely to craft Vicious Powder. Vicious Mushroom plants will be converted into ordinary Mushrooms if they are purified using Purification Powder or the Clentaminator.
