The Ocean Crate is a pre-Hardmode crate that can only be fished in the Ocean. Ocean Crates contain items found in standard crates, and always contain one item normally found in Water Chests. Its Hardmode counterpart is the Seaside Crate.

  • Desktop 1.4.4:
    • Shark Bait is now in its own loot group and can thus now be dropped alongside the Breathing Reed/Inner Tube/Trident/Flipper/Water Walking Boots.
    • Increased drop chance of Water Walking Boots from 9/100 (9%) to 1/10 (10%).
    • Increased drop chance of Breathing Reed, Inner Tube, Trident, and Flipper from 81/400 (20.25%) to 9/40 (22.5%) each.
    • Reduced quantity of dropped ores from 30–49 to 20–35.
    • Reduced quantity of dropped bars from 10–20 to 6–16.
