Keys are a category of tools, most being used to open locked Chests. Apart from the Shadow Key, all keys are consumed upon use. Biome Keys can only be used once Plantera has been defeated.

Temple Key	Dropped from Plantera.	Opens the Lihzahrd Door to the Jungle Temple.	One drops each time Plantera is defeated.
Jungle Key	Hardmode drop in Jungle and Underground Jungle biomes.	Opens the Dungeon's Jungle Chest	Drop rate is 1/2500 (0.04%)
Frozen Key	Hardmode drop in Snow or Ice biomes.	Opens the Dungeon's Ice Chest	Drop rate is 1/2500 (0.04%)
Hallowed Key	Hardmode drop in Hallow and Underground Hallow biomes.	Opens the Dungeon's Hallowed Chest	Drop rate is 1/2500 (0.04%)
