The Ichor Bullet is a Hardmode bullet. It inflicts the Ichor debuff on hit for 10 seconds (15 seconds in PvP), decreasing the enemy's defense by 15. Combined with the bullet's base damage, it effectively deals a total of 21 damage.

Its Corruption counterpart is the Cursed Bullet.

Tips

  • Although requiring many inputs, the player should switch between Ichor Bullets to inflict the Ichor debuff and higher-damage bullets (such as Crystal Bullets) as their main damage when fighting bosses for greater effectiveness.
  • The Destroyer, the Lunatic Cultist, and all Celestial Pillars are immune to the Ichor debuff, making this ammunition mostly useless against them.
  • Ichor Bullets reflected by enemies do not inflict the Ichor debuff on the player.

History

  • Desktop 1.2.3: Reduced the duration of the Ichor debuff on enemies from 15 to 10 seconds. The debuff duration when inflicted on other players in PvP remains unchanged.
