The Nettle Burst is a Hardmode wand that has a 1/7 (14.29%) chance of being dropped by Plantera. When used, it extends a 24-tile-long snaking vine that lingers for several seconds, passes through blocks, pierces infinite enemies, and hits rapidly for up to nine times per enemy. The Nettle Burst also has 10 armor penetration.
Its best modifier is Mythical.
Tips
- Its ability to pass through solid blocks and pierce unlimited enemies allows players to wall themselves off from most threats and still deal damage, or hit worm enemies while they are inside walls. Its infinite piercing property is also useful against enemies with multiple parts or minions.
- It is an indirect upgrade to the Crystal Vile Shard(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), which itself is an indirect upgrade to the Vilethorn.
