Kraken

The Kraken is a Hardmode, post-Plantera yoyo that has a 1/400 (0.25%) chance to drop from any enemy in the Dungeon. It has a base 14% critical strike chance as opposed to the usual 4%.

Its best modifier is Godly or Demonic. Both modifiers increase the average damage output by the same amount.

Notes

The Kraken has a motion blur effect when thrown.
Like the Amarok, Cascade, Hel-Fire, and Yelets, the Kraken will only drop from enemies that also drop at least 1 CC. Therefore, it cannot drop from statue-spawned enemies, since they never drop coins.

The Kraken has the same color scheme as Duke Fishron.
As of November 2016, the Kraken is the second yoyo to see a real-life counterpart release by One Drop YoYos , following the Terrarian in July 2015.
The Kraken has the largest projectile of any yoyo in the game, at 19×19 pixels.
Its namesake, the kraken, is a legendary cephalopod-like giant sea monster in Scandinavian folklore.

Desktop 1.4.0.1:
- Damage increased from 90 to 95.
- Increased critical strike chance from 4% to 14%.
- Now counts towards the "Robbing the Grave" achievement.
