The Shotgun shooting Musket Balls.

The Shotgun is a Hardmode gun that can be purchased from the Arms Dealer for 25 GC. When used, it fires a spread of 4–5 bullets, consuming one piece of ammunition.

Its best modifier is Unreal.

Tips

  • Using the Shotgun with Crystal Bullets is effective against groups and segmented enemies.
    • Exploding Bullets can be an alternative for their area damage. The combined knockback of the ammunition and weapon can be effective for holding off enemies in early Hardmode.
