The Rich Mahogany Bow is a bow that is stronger than a Wooden Bow, but weaker than an Ebonwood Bow/Shadewood Bow.

Its best modifier is Demonic, as it does not have any knockback and thus cannot get modifiers that affect it. (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) It can also get the Deadly modifier, which, while the Demonic modifier may provide the greatest damage per hit, grants a higher increase to the overall DPS.

Tips

• As the path to the Jungle (where Rich Mahogany wood is acquired) is usually obstructed with Corruption or Crimson, it may be more practical to craft an Ebonwood or Shadewood Bow instead.
• Alternatively, the player can go towards the opposite side and craft the Boreal Wood Bow, a bow made from the wood in the Snow Biome that is as strong as this bow.
