Launchers

Launchers are a type of Hardmode ranged weapons that fire rockets and other, similar ammunition. The ammo used by launchers generally explodes on contact with an enemy or solid block, dealing heavy damage within the area of the explosion. It may damage the player if not fired carefully. All launchers benefit from the damage bonus of the Shroomite Helmet, as well as other ranged bonuses. They can only be obtained post-Plantera.

Types

There are 10 different types of launchers, all of which are Hardmode-exclusive.

Behavior

Some launchers give unusual behavior to rockets, including transforming them into different kinds of projectiles with different behaviors. This table lists how some of the basic properties of the rocket variants are affected by the different rocket-using launchers. Additional info on how and why some of these changes happen can be found on the launchers' individual pages.
