The Clumsy Balloon Slime is a rare entity that can be found in the Space layer, in any weather. In pre-Hardmode, it cannot spawn in the central vertical section of the map, which is around one-tenth the width of the entire map. This restriction is removed in Hardmode.

The player can break its balloon as if it were an enemy, and then it will transform into the Clumsy Slime. Afterwards, the Clumsy Balloon Slime will no longer spawn.

It is one of the few entities that can be detected by the Lifeform Analyzer or its upgrades.

Notes

  • The Clumsy Balloon Slime does not damage the player, nor can the slime itself take any damage.
  • Only one Clumsy Balloon Slime can exist at a time.
  • If the Clumsy Slime Town Slime is killed, it will respawn naturally without the need to break another Clumsy Balloon Slime's balloon.
