The Mysterious Portal is an invincible NPC spawned during the Old One's Army event. Two Mysterious Portals will spawn when the event starts, at a minimum of 61 tiles and a maximum of 120 tiles away from the Eternia Crystal Stand on both sides, and they cannot be destroyed conventionally by the player. They are responsible for spawning all the enemies during the event, and will only despawn upon the event's completion or failure.

Tips

• A good way to keep the enemies at bay near the Mysterious Portal is by firing the Clinger Staff or Rainbow Gun's projectile or by placing an Explosive Trap near the portal's entrance. This way the enemies will instantly take damage when they come out.
