The Drakin is a Hardmode enemy that spawns during the Old One's Army event. It spawns during Tier 2 during waves 4–7, and Tier 3 during waves 3–7.

The Drakin has a large amount of health and immunity to knockback and attacks by firing a barrage of six small purple Drakin Shot projectiles every second, making it a rather resilient and difficult enemy.

The Drakin requires 100 kills to be awarded completion of its corresponding banner, as opposed to the usual 50 kills.[1]

  • The Drakin's hurt, killed, and projectile-firing sound files are shared with the Hemogoblin Shark.
  • The BestiaryBestiary entry for the Drakin: "Etherian reptiles in service of the Old One's Army. Powerful beasts, they are capable of spewing deadly purple flames."
